Lactose intolerance shouldn’t stop you from enjoying chocolate. Chocolat Stella Bernrain is an expert in chocolate that doesn’t contain lactose. Lactose-free chocolates are easy to digest and can be tolerated by everyone. The fact that the lactose is already split provides additional sweetness and makes it much more digestible. On request, we can produce completely kosher and halal chocolates according to the relevant specifications. We know the correct procedures and can guarantee the high quality of your products.

Chocolates with no added sugar or chocolates suitable for diabetics are in high demand. Many consumers, not only diabetics, are increasingly looking for products without sugar or with healthier sugar alternatives when it comes to chocolate. In 1960, Chocolat Stella produced the first chocolate without the addition of conventional sugar. We have been continuously improving our recipe ever since. We have now got it to a point where it hardly differs in taste from traditional chocolate. We also offer alternatives to sugar, including agave sugar, coconut sugar, date sugar and whole cane sugar. We will be happy to advise you when producing your sugar-free chocolate.

We source our cocoa from all the world’s major growing regions, from the Dominican Republic to South America, Africa and Asia, and maintain long-standing partnerships with cocoa producers and smallholders.

By using local ingredients and a special production technique, we can create products that look and taste like chocolate, but are incomparably sustainable.

Stella Bernrain also produces couvertures: We produce a wide range of different couvertures, from classic products to organic and Fair Trade to functional couverture chocolate or products without added sugar. We source our raw materials from selected small cooperatives in a number of different countries.

We offer semi-finished chocolate products in bar or block form, in plastic tubs or in liquid form, as well as in vats. We also offer the finest chocolate baking cubes for your own recipes.
